Entry Fees: $2.00 per class, per rat

Show Box Fee: $2.00 per box
(you should order enough boxes for your largest class)

Lunch: $5.00 per person
(Lunch consists of meal, drink and dessert. You are welcome to bring your own)

Deadline to enter is Wednesday, February 20, 2008 by 11:59 p.m.
Deadline extended to Friday, February 22, 2008 by Noon!!
(You must be registered to show. Late entries will be accepted. Once registered, you can enter additional classes at the show. Your rat must go through health check.)

Quarantine is required. Please be sure to quarantine for three weeks prior to show. See quarantine page for more details.

Class Descriptions

1. For white rats (i.e., ivory, albino, PEW); judged on pureness of white.
2. For black rats; judged on richness of black.
3. For any brown rats (i.e., chocolate, mocha, faded black, Burmese); judged on trueness of brown.
4.
For any blue rats (i.e., American blue, sky blue, Russian silver, Russian Blue); judged for prettiest blue color.
5. For Siamese, Burmese, or Himalayan; based on the best points.
6. For any agouti (i.e., agouti, fawn, blue agouti, cinnamon, Russian blue agouti); judged for quality of ticking and belly contrast.
7. For any cream rat (i.e. beige, champagne); judged for beauty of color.
8. Judged for sweetness, curiosity and cuteness; best pet should display those qualities we love in rats (#1).
9. Judged for the uniqueness of coloration.
10. Judged for the uniqueness of markings.
11. Judged on best costume. Must be worn by rat.
12. Best artwork or photography (#1).
13. Judged for having the kind of face only a mom would love (i.e., funny looking). Audience judges.
14. Winners from each color class will compete for Best of Color. Audience judges.
15. Judged on size.
16. Judged for sweetness, curiosity and cuteness; best pet should display those qualities we love in rats (#2).
17. Judged for the uniqueness of coloration.
18. Judged for the uniqueness of markings.
19. Judged on kissiness and lovability.
20. Judged on pairs of rats that look most similar in any aspect (i.e., ears, color, markings)
21. Class for hairless rats; least fur wins.
22. Just what it says. Bring your own props.
23. Best artwork or photography (#2).
24. Class for dwarf rats; judged for size, dwarf quality and cuteness.
25. Class for Rex, Double Rex, Velveteen, Satin, and Harley; judged on the most interesting coat type.

 All entry fees and show box are due even if you decide not to attend the show.

 If you have problems and  cannot attend please let us know ahead of time.

 Substitutions of rats can be done. Please let us know at the registration table.

 Morning health check begins at 8:30 am until 10 am. Afternoon health check begins from 12:00 pm to 1:00    pm. Any registrants present prior to afternoon classes, must take part in the morning check-in. You may not enter if rats are not health checked. Please be on time!!

 * Quarantine is required. If you have recently gotten new rats (after January 23) or your rats have been in contact with outside rats in the last three weeks, please do not bring them to the show. Any signs of illness or disease should be taken seriously. Please do not bring sick rats to the show. *
